Aside from the obvious stuff you should put in a fuel antifreeze once a month during the winter. It comes in small bottles at the gas station (about $1), just dump one in when you get gas. It's essentially alcohol; and what it does is get the condensation out of your fuel lines so it doesn't freeze. If you've ever had a fuel line freeze (it has to be really cold) the only cure is to let the car sit in a heated garage for a day or two. It's cheap insurance.
