I'm pretty cool with anything as long as I have the knowledge to do it. I just changed the harmonic balancer and oil pump seal so I'm not scared to dig in. I have never done the brakes before. I don't own the bentely manual. Some one sent me the instructions for the oil pump seal that they got from Townsend. It was everything I needed. I'm looking for those kind of instructions for this job. I've discovered that the front passenger side piston is stuck open. When I touch the rotor it is cold. The drivers side is hot. I did not however burn my fingers. So my first step to get that piston freed and make sure the pads are OK.
After that the next step should be to bleed the system and see how it works.
Do I have to bleed the rears as well? I think there may be bad seals between the resevoire and the master cylinder. Should I get a kit or is it possible that the whole thing is shot.
Also I have been driving around the last couple of days So you think I've made my front brakes uneven?
thanks so much for the help.
