I just put Sounsstream Tarantula SST4.0's in the front and SST6.9's in the rear. Obviously I had to make a custom mount to fit the 6x9's in the 4x10 mounting area. I may box them in as well. This is my winter beater so I didn't want to go nuts. I spent about $125 at shipsound.com. Very happy with the upgrade. The OEM 4x10's just don't offer enough bass for my taste, and the dash speakers were toast from the elements. I'm not part of the BOOM-BOOM crowd either, but dame these speakers offer surprising bass clarity for 6x9's--no sub necessary.
