Armchair mechanic: bleeding clutch Posted by ZAAB [Email] (#685) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ZAAB) on Thu, 20 Mar 2008 07:15:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |

Just replaced the rear brake calipers, rotors, and pads...bled the system with the motive power bleeder...nice!
All done, then I decide to flush the clutch line too...just a quicky, I imagine.
I have searched already, by the way:
Fluid comes out black when I pressurized the system (lightly, as per Bentley manual (~5psi)
Then,
A lot of Air comes out the slave bleeder...so I fill the reservoir up to the brim, and repressurize...
Clean fluid comes out...I let it continue to bleed, no huge bubbles. ~1 pint of fluid ran through.
My clutch petal still falls to the floor.
Do I continue the bleeding, or did I kill my master cylinder?
