So the 1991 900TC i just got has really messed up seats skins. The usual "leave the top down in the sun, and don't condition the leather" issue. Hence leather is cracked, dry, and shrunken.

My options are to just replace the skins ( i think the padding is still ok, but the heaters don't work), or put in new seats.

Basically i want the power seats and heaters to work but before i look for i needed some advice on which direction to go.

One other thing i am curious about is the legroom. I had a 1985 and 1988 900 and i remember having more legroom than i do now in my 1991. Is the seat setup different? If so, can i put an older seat in there to get back that extra room. Maybe i am just on crack but i swore that my older 900s had more room. Are there any tricks to mouthing a seat in a further back position?

Any input and sugg. on what to do with these old and tired looking seats would be great. Would love to find a nice set at a pick-n-pull (aka junkyard) if possible.
