so the car still isn't starting up for a good 5-8 secs, and then idles really rough, or just flat out dies. the exhaust smells like straight gas. SUPER RICH!
would a bad FPR make for the really rich mixture at start-up? or are we looking at something else? O2 sensor etc.
so here's a gen ? re: being a mech., which i am not. say for example that i wanted to test something like a O2 sensor, or another electronic device in my car - how does this work? do you hook up an ohm meter and test against a baseline reading that you know each device should be producing?
i am so new to working on cars i just don't know crap about diagnostics.
