get it up to temp when you cold start. is that on a car newer than my 1991?
if it's the fuel pump does it mean that it is sending too much fuel?
if it's the air mass meter, would swapping it with a used one from a junked 1993 non-turbo (mine being turbo) work? or is it just a better idea to get a new one? how does one test the AMM?
on the subject, would any of these issues be preventing my car from making boost levels close to red? i only get 3/4 yellow right now.
i have apc/eprom/injectors/3bar FPR/bov/magnacors coming from SD but thinking if there is some other issue in the car that these mods won't seem to work as well as expected.
i also have new plugs, cap, rotor coming soon too.
thx, neil
ps: would it be worth paying a mech to baseline the car b4 i mod it? or is most of this diag. something with little DIY exper. can tackle, with the proper tools of course, and knowhow (bentley manual on its way as well)
cheers
