WHAT IS THE DEAL! Sorry to shout, but I am losing my patience and about to break out the Sawzall! I have removed the 16 bolts/studs holding the AT to the engine, and have removed the 8 bolts holding the torque converter to the AT flywheel, but the AT will not drop. The bottom of the engine is level front to back and side to side (I love turnbuckles!).

But the flywheel seems to be binding and AT will not drop. I can see straight across the bottom of the engine, side to side; far side drops about an half inch to 3/4 and I can get 1/8 inch right behind the fly wheel, but that is about it. Help, I have wasted about an hour and a half leveling and releveling, lifting the front, lifting toward the back and the torque convverter has not budged a millimeter on the flywheel. I've read the FAQ, Bentley, and Haynes and get no further illumination on the topic. What am I missing?
