I know the latch ones are small and close up against the breakable window glass, but I think what you want to do should be pretty easy. Pushing from one end will make the other end come thru. Grab that protruding end in the jaws of a small pair of vise grips, set tight, and that should squeeze the roll pin in some and let you pull and twist it out. If it's sheared off inside then you might have a problem but still should be able to push the pieces out from one side.
DON'T use something like a nail, with a tapered point, to push the pin as the taper will go inside the roll pin and push it out against the outer walls and make it harder to move, then you'll just bend the nail.
Also a nail is pretty soft steel, iron actually, and will want to bend if tapped on unless it's making progress. But you can get nails, finish nails and brads, in all diameters easily, so they might be your best bet to fit the roll pin hole. Then just file the end blunt and use one as a punch. Special pin punches exist at hardware stores but cost a pretty penny. I don't know if they make them small enough for what you want and they're easy to bend and break if not tapped dead vertical or if pried on.
Another way to get pin out if hammering is out of question is with say a fat nut on far side and a short smaller pin on near side (say a section of nail), and squeeze the pin down into the hole with a big set of "water pump" slip jaw pliers opened out wide, squeezing nut, latch and pin. Open pliers big enough and you can get the leverage just right to make the pin push out easy. You need the nut, or some kind of block with a hole in it, to be on the opposite side so the pin can push out into its hollow center.
