wire, loosen 13mm dizzy bolt (just 1/3rd of a turn), point strobe at opening in flywheel cover, disconnect vac line to dizzy (cap it so vacuum to manifold is not affected) and look for 16 degrees BTDC (just 16 on the flywheel). there is a line scribed into the cover that you want to correspond to. turn dizzy to acheive this.

but, before you start! scribe a small line on the edge of the dizzy where it meets the head-actually you want a line that joins the head to the dizzy, so you can put it right back where it was again afterwards-that is, if you really love the way it runs right now....
