pull the AIC valve off and look inside to make sure the metal cylinder inside moves freely. it's the unit at the end of the fuel rail closest to the radiator end of the engine. has two hoses and one electrical connector. held in place by a metal strap that has a 10mm head on the bolt, this is on top of the thermostat cover. remove the unit. look inside the opening on the SIDE of the unit, have a small screwdriver and place inside and see if you can move the cylinder inside it. it will either move very easily (correct) or you will not be able to move it and think wtf is that guy talking about. if it's stuck that is your problem, use WD-40 or PB Blaster to get it loose and keep working it, load it up with liquid and let it sit for a hour, move stuff around, repeat. DO NOT USE CARB CLEANER or brake cleaner either as they can melt the plastic inside the unit. after you get it happy and moving around, put thumb on one connection and blow into the other, should be sealed ie air does not escape. if the plastic is melted from other user cleaning it air will escape from the connector, it will run but you should get another from yea olde junke yarde...
let us know if this fixes it, ok?
