Like anything people feel strongly about, it's not a matter of supply and demand, but desire and availability.
My buddy paid $15,000 for a 1994 Comm Ed convertible last year. 1 owner, 25K original miles. It's what he was looking for, and it became available.
Another friend of mine sold a low milage restored black SPG (was in an accident) for $23,000 last year after meticulously rebuilding it and putting in a NEW crate motor (0 miles). The new owner was commited before the restoration even began.
A low milage one-owner 1994 Commemorative with dealer-installed SPG panels was listed in the classifieds here on Tuesday. I emailed the owner to have him add his car to the CE registry--he did. I got an email today that he sold the car already. There are at least 4 other 1994 CEs in the classifieds right now. I'm sure this one sold because of it's uniqueness (1-owner, low miles, dealer-installed SPG kit and really fair price).
These are extreme examples but you get the picture--desire, availability. There is plenty of desire among people on this board, but availability of perfect examples is rare.
