Hi,
I looked at a '92 turbo convertible today. I'm not sure whether it would be a good prospect or not. Any advice would be appreciated.
The bad: mystery brake fluid leak (which could or could not be really expensive to fix); turbo stuck in base boost; top doesn't move; some grinding in 2nd gear; temp gauge seems to read a bit high.
Paint's decent; top's decent. Air might work. Suspension seems OK.
I know the turbo base boost could be due to many things, and I'm not too worried about that. Same for the top moving. What worries me are the disappearing brake fluid, and the grinding in 2nd gear (only sometimes), and the temp gauge did seem to get a bit high -- maybe to 3/4 in the 30 minutes I drove it today.
Should I run? Make an offer? It's not like these cars are exactly common where I live (the only one in my town is my 9000).
Any ideas y'all might have would be helpful!
