A 5 hp increase on an old 85 hp Nissan engine would be impressive. A 5 hp increase on a 350 hp big block Ford, not so much. At all speed ranges? At one specific speed? As they say, your mileage may vary.
I'm always suspicious of these things, because even if they aren't lying, how is the test set up? What were they actually comparing it to? Also, engine manufacturers are pretty canny about the plugs the use - there is a lot more to engine head design than make a space, squirt fuel, and set a spark. The flame-front is primarily about the head design and fuel swirl; spark is important but spark is spark.
I'll put it this way - if you have a non-DI car (which MUST use the proper NGKs), you need to replace some plugs that are tired, and the new Belchfire E3 isn't any more expensive than a decent set of NGKs, then it's worth the risk. But if these babies are $15 apiece, don't bother.
