SUV jerks in NYC.

So my car had its first run in that did more than scrape the bumper. I had him parked in front of my house. But I wanted to go out that night so I took the transit into the City. The next morning when I went out to drive to work I noticed a scrape in my paint and a deep-ish ding in the hood on the driver's side. There's a matching one that didn't dent in as much or remove the paint to the metal on the passenger side as well.
*sigh* I can only assume this was caused by a very high up bumper. I had resigned myself to not being fussy about my bumper since i live in NYC, but I wish people knew how to parallel park!!!! Even if you slowly inch your way up to kiss the car in front/back of you I don't freak out. But to actually cause some blemishes to my baby makes me steamed. *sigh*
I think any and all cars under 15 years old should be taxed based on MPG in NYC. Especially if the owner doesn't have any dependents.
grrrrrrrrr........
