agree that original post was somewhat confusing... the yellow dot are either side and the mount whole is centered front to back, only difference is the bent over tab on one end to orient front to back. the front is a green dot and is not centered, it has an obvious offset left to right. installation the green dot would, as another posted said, cant the engine slightly and could cause the shift shaft to have a bend in it. Actually, if a Green dot is installed on the side, and a yellow dot on the front... how did they get everything to bolt up? I guess you could but it might fall under the BHT. BHT == bigger hammer theory
