The engine only has 96,000 miles on it. While I've kicked around the idea of converting to a 16 valve I'm not ready for all that.

Mechanic says the hole is about the size of the tip of a cigarette. I'm gonna tell him to try and patch it. Whether it's JB weld or something similar.

Talked to a welder who confirmed the fact that aluminum does in fact have some absorbtion(he used another word) characteristics. Says would be very difficult to weld.

My question is how much pressure is it gonna be required to hold? What is normal oil pressure?

And for the record I've called just about every junk yard within an hours drive of Pittsburgh and I honestly can't find 1 that anything for an 84 turbo.
