Just remember the 94 up Saabs are GM influenced, and the 93 down Saabs from what I have been told and read are FAR more reliable, well built, and the quality is far superior. Not to say the newer ones are not nice, but I would take a 87-93 900T over a 97 in the same condition.
Look at all you have done to your 89.... I just did what you are thinking about doing. I sold my 89 900S in May, kicked myself for it, turns out the guy sold it back to me yesterday, and I feel so good about getting it back. I sold it to get(embarrased to say this) a 97 Escort LX, decent car, but I see 50 a day, NEVER do I see a 900... Not an 89!, Not in Florida!!! Keep it, newer is not always better. Wish I could go to a 5 speed!!!! You have a car that is timeless, we have a very different car with personality. I think the newer Saabs after the 93 lost thier luster. Just my opinion.
