My new to me 93 900S Convertible just gave me my first reason to "not drive it" according to my wife it is off limits to any "family" rides. :-(
I was driving it home a few days ago on a very hot 90++ degree day. Driving from Plymouth to Attleboro in a mix of highway and semi-stop and go traffic on rte 44 my antilock light came on. I kept driving it all the way to Attleboro. Shut the car off (made the mistake of mentioning the light being on to my wife) I restarted the car the next day and all the lights went out after about 10-20 seconds. Started on my way and at the first little speedbump leaving my condo complex the antilock brake light came back on. :-( So my question to the group. (I figure I can show my wife this post/answers to relieve any of her worry) Would you still drive the car with the antilock brake light on? My plan is to bring it into the Indy I use and have them hook it up to a computer to tell me why the light is on but...I have $$$ tied up in a August trip to Disney, and we have family visiting from Italy over the next two weeks so it will be a long while before I can get it to the Indy. I was looking forward to taking my relatives from Italy around sightseeing in the convertible but I have a feeling my wife will NOT let that happen with the light on. Opinions?
