sounds like a great project. You're probably doing all this stuff then, but here's the list I did with the engine out: upper A-arm bushings (do one bushing at a time, use spring compressors), front main seal (easy), oil pump gasket (easy), alternator bushings and alt control arm bushings, belts, ...I think that was all I did. Maybe new grease in the tripod joints.
Nothing was that hard, although I wrecked countless A-arm bushings until I bit the bullet and bought a big shop press ($125). oh yeah, you'll probably want to order 2 RMS, -one for learning with.
Yeah, I though the engine would never actually go back in the car because I was used to seeing it in the garage. It finally did. Everything goes back together pretty intuitively. It takes a while but it's really satisfying!
