The are difficult to see becaause of the tangle of wiring that is also in that part of the car. The bolts in the fire wall, are accessed through the fender: on the driver's side just behind the fuse box. On the passenger side of my 1990 vert, they are located in exactly the same place, but in this case, behind the power steering reservoir. On my car it is easier to locate the bolt on the passenger side. So, try that side first. Once you see where that one is, you will be able to more easily locate the bolt on the drivers side. On the driver's side there is more wiring, as the entire wiring harness for the interior is also in the vicinity.
