This is the only thing that will drill out the hardened steel of the broken screw extractor. It will also drill out other, lesser HSS and Cobalt drill bits.
These were not available locally in Dallas so I ordered them from Fastenal. They are expensive - maybe $15 each, and brittle, so be careful with them. But they cut like butter. It may be hard to keep the bit centered, so you will likely still need to use a Helicoil or some other thread insert. These are pretty easy to use, even for a first-timer.
