I have done the same on 900S' after 1988 , the hall sensor on the 900S non turbo are at the frtont of the engine (nearest the fire wall) at the crank. Instaed of messing around there i jusy used an earlier 900S that had a distributer hall sensor. Used a 3 prong plug from a woiper blade motor side and using as much shielding from the older hall sensor wiring put blade type connectors on the three prong plug and the "new" hall sensor wiring harness and plug the 3 prong plug into the original wiring system. Worked first crank , reset timing and no problem. have done this with 2 900S' 93 vert and 92 hatchback . tooo easy. You can do the same with a turbo. Frank
