I just purchased an '87 900 Turbo Convertible with 255K miles on the odometer. I have not owned a 900 since 1986, and my family outgrew it quickly, so I'll be searching the archives but may still ask a few dumb questions as my recent experience is with the 9000 and 9-5. Thanks in advance for your patience, and any advice you may have up front is also greatly appreciated. Things that I know of immediately are 1) manual trans wants to jump out of reverse gear when backing up a slope 2) Windshield wiper fluid not coming out of nozzles - suspect pump as check valves seem to be OK 3) popping noise when backing and turning the wheel sharply 4) lazy right hand turn signal (wants to drop on it's own).
