I am NO painting expert, so consult someone who is, however.... If the base coat (color) is still ok, then you might try this after you consult an expert. This may only buy you time. Take and tape off around yout blemish and use some clear coat spray building up the layer of clear coat that has come off. . Once you have done this (built back up the missing clear coat) then use 1500 wet dry to gently scuff the remaining clear coat do not cut through the clear coat as the base coat will be damaged.Tape off areas around trunk (remove the tape you had surrounding you bad spot) spray entire trunk with clear coat. two layers. let dry for a day. wet sand with finest grit you can find 1500 or higherto . Use a good glaze. This MAY get you some time and save you about a 1500 paint job on the entire car . Tree sap, bird droppings, industrial dust, and the unrelenting sun are your worst enemies. Use a car cover when ever you are parked out side. There is anothe roption here, and I have seen it done on other saabs. Sand down the trunk and use acrylic paint on the trunk. depending on your car color a perfect match may be difficult to achieve. I have a good dark green trunl from a vert turbo but I don't know at tghis write how perfect it is.
