If clutch hydraulics are in working order, and you can work in the yard, go thru the steps to remove the clutch disk, pressure plate and slave and throwout bearing right there. But make them leave motor and tranny attached till you get it home as you want the oil pickup undamaged (Woops, I'm not sure it's the same for your later motor; search on here to find out. You'll definitely need a manual tranny oil pickup for your current motor.)
That makes it simpler for you to get the clutch out of the way for splitting engine and tranny. You won't need a sawzall. Or, you could use the grease-gun-as-clutch-"hydraulic"-system trick, with a second spare clutch bleeder screw, and do the disassembly on your end.
