Read his highly entertaining and creative posts, which he makes rarely and in spurts.
Actually, Vac, WAS THAT YOU? Not up to your usual speed or volume.
And Alec, I had to hold myself back from a wiseguy crack about the mechanics using your car to make beer runs.
If warm season, might not have been antifreeze, just plain water, though it's not good to do that as the soapy antifreeze actually lubes the water pump seal surface.
Most "flush" solutions are what you can get in a kit at auto parts store, Prestone sells a tall cardboard can with crystals of some acid inside, that you dissolve in water and run for a while in your system.
It actually does help free up deposits of rusty sediment and get them moving so you can drain them away, also I guess dissolves mineral deposits, but it has the risk of eating away at radiator and heater core tubes and maybe triggering a leak. If so the leak was probably inevitable soon anyway. If you follow their recommendations on solution strength and time in the engine, you should be okay.
People have posted recommendations about flushing things on here; do some searches.
