the correct voltage seems to elude me at the moment but find out what it is and check your voltage, if you find your way over volts your burning up the darn thing
check your fuses look to see if their melted, put your nose down by the fuse box and with the car running (if possible) take a big whiff, if you smell something like hair burning one of your fuses or relays are faulty.
if you have not enjoyed the smell of burnt hair, go ahead and pull one strain off your head, or off the brush, comb, and light it up.
the odder will never be forgotten.
when wires burn or fuses the resembles the smell of burnt hair.
