One of my Saab is a 91/900s automatic four door. Metallic blue with dark blue leather seats. The front doors remind me of a English taxi. (Small Squarish). Guess this was the only way Saab could fit the four doors. My 92/900t, two door are a lot bigger and I love the pop-out rear windows. The replaced head-gasket needs to be redone as I was in a hurried and failed to apply JB-Weld on some pitted area of the head that corresponded with a water passage. Still runs fine except for a little wetting of one spark plug upon the first start in the mourning. Doesn't leak into the coolant reservoir. Needs the headliner replaced and I cruched the roof slightly when my friends car lift had a safety cam became misaligned and wouldn't release the cam. I had to raise the car so high it cruched the roof slightly. Something that can easily be pushed up after headliner shell is removed. This really gave a sick feeling when it happened. Ten foot ceilings just aren't high enough for a lift. My new shop has twelve foot high ceilings and shouldn't be a problem. Not many old Saab 900 where I live and I'm surprised to hear that there aren't many four doors around. Brought the car off of EBay. Had a bad oil leak when I brought it (Oil pump O ring and seal) Replaced the four ball joints and complete exhaust. 168000 miles and still running strong. Next head gasket replacement will also be a rebuilt head from Clear-water for $350. Needs a little body work on rear lower door where some poor repair was done and they filled the drain tube between the metal body which caused some rust. Can't see it unless you look closely. Having the dreaded ground fault with the rear lights when running at night. The over-all condition of the 91 is great for it's age. Plan on parking it this winter so I can start working on things while it's colder. Shops almost ready to move into. Electric is next, then the lift. Nice to find I own a not so common four door. To think I was going to sell it?
