my sunroof button works fine retracting the sunroof but dose not work so well closing it. if i play with the button as in slowly push the button and hold it in the position just before the button is fully pressed down to close the sunroof the button will work. if i push the button all the way down the button dose not work, i went out to the yard to get another button off a 900 thats was put to rest, but the local pick and pull dose not have a 900. so im stuck with trying to take apart the debunked button.
anyone know how to take the button apart or what wires need to be connected to close the roof, on the back of the button there are metal tabs that the harness wire hooks to and the tabs are numbered 1-8 number 5 dose not have a metal tab protruding from the button, what numbers close the roof? at the moment i have button in hand poking and prodding trying to open it up, thinking just the contacts need to be clean but i cant get in.
anyone been here done that, would like a little input if you have
