I checked the cruise control switch per Bentley Manual and the switch is OK. However, the way I read the wiring diagram I should have power to the switch via the brown wire (1990), well no power (12v). I checked for power and the ground at the speed sensor (back of instrument cluster)and I have power on brown wire coming into control unit (left side of dash). Down at the shifter I have an orange wire going to nothing which is probably OK because my donor car I got the manual gearbox out had the orange wire tucked back into the wire casing. I do have a single spade connector with two white/brown wires and one green going to nothing? My 1989 donor car does not have this. (the 89 has cruise also). Summing it up no power going to the stalk switch via brown wire. Any ideas?? Thanks :)
