Proposed panel repair recipe... Posted by Landjet [Email] ![]() ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: SPG panel broken tab repair /HFT, Saabnutt, Sun, 1 Feb 2009 11:20:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
While I was sitting down thinking of nothing, the idea of a panel repair appeared in my head.......
Take an old panel ( I have a trashed one ) and pulverize it into pieces....I then thought the pieces should be like grated cheese.....thin, long, and with enough thickness that they have some pull strength.....
Use some mesh perhaps similar to grass seedling material....
Polyurethane used on wood floors....
So, I think you probably have in mind what the plan is....make a swill of the grated plastic cheese / Polyurethane and spread it over the mesh that is laid over the break in the plastic -- then follow it with a drizzle of Polyurethane, sprinkle some powdered sugar, bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes and serve......
Maybe hold the bake time.....
Sharp fork and knife at the table would be helpful...
