Will you tell me (again?) where you got your head gasket set from and was it complete will all seals you needed, or did you have to purchase extra items to include valve guide seals? Was the head in need of machining? Did you remove the valves before you took the head to thwe machine shop? Congratulations on completing a $1,000+ task as I have been following your and supporting posts. I have not pulled a Saab engine, and lack a garage, so as long as my sedan holds out til warmer weather I guess I'll just order in the parts. It's like that train at the other end of a long tunnel, you know it's going to get here eventually.
