Nice day today so I took the SPG to work. All was fine going to the office and home again. I just went out and started it up to go meet some friends for dinner and noticed it blowing white smoke. There's a little fluid dripping from the tailpipe, felt it, tasted it, antifreeze. Incidentally the car was running perfectly when I noticed it. Not a single hiccup.
In the years I've owned the car it's *never* overheated. Is it unheard of for them to just let loose?
Obviously I'm not driving it anywhere and will do the job myself. I've done everything else on this car except rebuild the transmission (that was done before I bought it).
Just how terrible a job is this going to be?
I've read where some have replaced the head with a 2.1 n/a head. Is this at all worthwhile (there's several pull-a-parts in the area).
Tips?
Tricks?
Tks guys
