You should still have enough room to get in there and Cut it in half with a sawzall - which is how I did mine. Then you can use the hydraulic jack/battery tie down trick shown in the auto to 5-speed FAQ (here on saabnet) to compress your new (or old) pressure plate, after you remove it. Cutting it out requires a new blade, a regular (no wimpy battery operated version, about 20 minutes and a lot of down pressure to get the job done.
I screwed around with a number of different methods (pennies, three-bolt method), and nothing was a satisfying as cutting that S.O.B. in half after a couple of hours of screwing around with some of the alternate methods (and failing).
An idea you might try that occurred to me weeks later was to have cut the slave in half, then used a wood splitting wedge between the two halves to compress the pressure plate fingers, then slide in the tool. But I didn't really care, the slave, automatic transmission, and pressure plate were all being replaced, so beating it out with a 3-pound hand sledge was also very satisfying.
I'm just that kinda guy.
