I have been faced with this dilemma several times over the years, and I have wished for that exact tool myself, but never could really justify the expense. I came up with a solution that has worked well. (Much better than cutting with a sawzall, where the blade seems to get pinched no matter what) I made a tool with a connecting rod (Off an old 2-litre engine) the lower cap is removed, 2 longer bolts are scewed in (2 1/2 inch long) a spacer/piece of tubing is slipped over each of the 2 bolts, and a large tube (2 inch or so inside diameter, 18 to 24 inches long, goes over the smaller side of the connecting rod to give you the needed leverage. I was able to insert my clutch ring easily, without any help. I ended up with a slightly damaged TO bearing, but I did not care as this tool made the job faster and easier than any of the other methods I had tried before. Good luck!!!
