Pull rear seat bottom up and tip it forward vertical behind front seats, lay seat back down flat, front seats tipped/cranked all way forward onto dash, drop headliner and push it forward onto dash as far as it will go and rear edge will then clear the rear shelf and drop into trunk. Dip it down, fly level a bit, then up and over rear edge of trunk. Go easy and the puffy glass backing board won't break.
Beforehand, to get rear pillar covers out, after pulling seatbelts, you put a flat bar in behind the covers, in the middle, and bow them out a little, gently. They seem too long to come out but bowing them like this shortens them up so they pop out at bottom or top, without cracking.
