wheel bearing or the plate that protects the rotor may be scraping?
put the car up on a jack stand and with wheel removed and in neutral...
turn the hub by hand and listen for the source of the noise, sometimes that metal plate behind the rotor gets bent, just bend it back until the noise goes away.
to check for wheel bearing do the above, it should turn but need some force to turn, if it wiggles or spins like a bicycle tire... it's toast.
after above is done, find a nice quiet length of road and at about 45 mph with both windows down, do some power off coasting moderate lane changes to see (hear!) if the noise changes... if it groans, and if it groans/grinds much more in one direction than the other it's a wheel bearing.
