hey guys, its been a long time since i visited here, but yeah that was me. the fitings weren't too expensive, and i can dig up the part numbers for you, they were not hard to obtain. you'll never blow another intake hose.
the trick is to tap the plenum just enought to thread the fitting so it screws almost all the way down, and also to the point where the hoses point in the direction you want them to when the fitting is snug.
I'll try to post tonight.
my airflow has been parked in the garage for almost two years. dave k is finally finishing my turbo and mods to the custom header/WG/downpipe i had, so the car will finally make carlisle this year. Id love to meet some of you there.
