You should be concerned about it because a leaking servo will affect your idle and your fuel mixture. A couple of possibilities. First turn the vent control to the 8 or 9 o'clock position so the center vent is blowing cold air all the time. Does the center vent seem to close itself off when you accelerate quickly as opposed to when you are idling or driving at a constant speed? If yes this means your vacuum tank is probably not holding a vacuum and you have a leak either in or near the tank (valve or line) or the servo. Try plugging the line to the vacuum tank. You won't have vent control but at least the leak will be stopped. Second check the lines from the vacuum tank to/from the firewall on both sides of the firewall and make sure they are secure. Finally the loss of pressure after shut down you hear is normal to some extent, but if your vent controls aren't working then you probably have a leak somewhere (last option is to check all lines) but I'd do that only after making sure canister is intact.
