That's why Saab sold VERY few of them in the US. It was, at the time (20+ years ago now...) a $400 dealer accessory, and a $400 install. As mentioned, C900s are not prepared for it in any way, shape or form, with the sole exception of the hole in the hatch glass for 1987-1988 or thereabout.
A while back, there was someone in the UK who was putting together kits or had instructions for adapting the hatch wiper from either a 9000 CS or an NG to the C900. I haven't seen that link in ages...
Here it is, an article in Saab Driver 2003/01 (Driver is the magazine of the Saab Owner's Club of Great Britain). I don't have that issue any longer. But he pulled the bits from a 9000 CS. You'll still have the same issues running wires, etc.
All in all, I never saw it as something I needed on any C900 hatch I've ever owned. The rear glass on most Saabs is cleared very effectively by the airflow over the car above about 30 MPH in all but the biggest deluges. And you shouldn't be clearing large amounts of snow with ANY wiper.
As someone mentioned, Rain-X is the bees knees...
