Re: Super Aero's on 84T=upgrade to 88+ Posted by Mike in KC [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: SPG wheels-nice color, Turbo00, Wed, 8 Apr 2009 13:57:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
thx, my initial thinking is to mod the suspension first; all new a-arm bushings(they seem original and squeak), ball joints, tie rods, Intrax springs(have on 88' 900S-sweet handling), was thinking Koni-classics or HD Bilsteins(have on 88'900S-very firm), sway bar bushings, then 88+ brakes-9000 brakes, or just later 900? I guess another issue is with Super Aero's won't I have to move the rear axle forward? Anyway, I agree doing these mods before upgrading the power. I found this 84T with 83k on it in IA. Very clean, no rust, it didn't see winters, always stored. It is the 8 valve, 5spd,completely stock 4dr, leather etc..so I want to do this right over doing it fast. I guess this car is getting harder to find, most want a 16V T.
