The 16v LH cars (and, presumably, the Lucas cars) have the relay on top of the ECU bracket in the right side kick panel. The K-Jet cars (all 8v) have their relays either in the main fuse/relay panel on the left side, under the bonnet, or, if you're lucky enough to have a US-spec catalyst car, possibly in the auxiliary relay panel just behind the left headlight under the bonnet.
I learned those relays well with my 1984 900 turbo here in the States...
