There're quite a few bolts and nuts to be bolted and nutted and I hope my tranny story should end in a week or two. It took about half a year and hefty of franklins to get it completed.
1. If there start happening epedemic tranny failures the next month due to saab continuum - I'm really sorry.
2. I've got a late version of tranny that doesn't have drain plug so I started thinking of smth special (actually, I love to think about smth special. As a matter of fact I'm thinking of smth special every night before hitting a bed: e.g. Tesla Roadster, Vetrix DC scooter, air suspension, variable compression, ticket to the moon and back and so on)... So I started thinking of smth regarding oil changes on my transmission and I came to conclusion that vacuum oil extractor appears to be a good idea. Local suppliers have only huge versions mostly for shops and dealers (btw, not DC but air-driven) so I went to that-very-bay and found a 12DC solution with $30 sticker on it and $40 s'n'h fee for overseas buyers. After that I did some googling and it appeared that such solution should be pretty popular among yachtsmen and other boatsmen and sea-folks.
Any input of yours, folks, will be greatly appreciated: do we have here any guys that can share with us with pros and cons on these pumps? I'm mostly wondering about cons since pros are very well described by sellers.

P.S.
Yes, I do remember about the chain case and diff case that can not be sucked with this pump but it should be much easier and cleaner to work with their covers to drain the oil out when most of oil is already sucked out with such a pump. Uh?
