$100 sounds good. The only cars that came with the 2.8 bar FPR were the 1993 and 1994 Commemorative Edition cars. They also came with the red box and the 010 distributor. I used the setup off my old Comm Ed in my 1992 (before I upgraded to the 3.0 bar FPR). Do a saabnet search on AID to see about modifying the vac canister on your current distributor (or buying an altered one). Performance board is best place to do the search. The APC system will dial performance back if you don't use high-test fuel. The higher the octane, the better the performance.

BTW, if you are thinking of using higher octane, don't use octane boosters that you buy off the shelf at the auto parts stores, they don't work. If you want to boost your octane further, add straight toluene bought at the paint store.
