Baseline the value of the car is what a buyer is willing to pay! I echo comments of the previous responders. Additionally, if you are not a DIY these cars can really be painful. While it is stated the car has been maintained by a Saab mechanic here are some things you should know the status:
-is the head gasket leaking and/or been replaced
-check the rear exhaust for any smoke as smoke may indicate a failing turbo
-any rust in the battery compartment area
-pull up carpet and check condition of floor pans
-rust status....fender wells, subframe, shock towers
-engine compression
-where are the oil leaks and ask how much oil leaks between oil changes
-any evidence of a major accident repair
-shifts and accesses all gears w/o popping out
-be sure to start car from cold and see how it behaves until it reaches temp
-inspect records for what items have been replaced/serviced, e.g. steering rack, regular hydraulic and coolant fluid changes etc.
Good luck!
