Mark,
There are no specs for engine ID like production year and such. Valkyrie is a green M'93 3D LPT, but I can find some parts having '92 or even '91 stamps on them. As for your req I'd say that it's '93 convertible with manual stick and 2.1 n/a engine (i.e. I confirm what Andre said) produced at Valmet plant in Nystad, FI. Taking into account that according to VIN it's only 3541-nd car of that year (1993) and that Valkyrie's engine is of P-series and applying year-decoding rule from VIN (L=90, N=92, P=93) I'd suggest that engine was manufactured in 1992.
To be honest I don't think I do understand the way you're buying that car. You'd better carry out compression test, check wheel alignment for both front and rear axles, check body for corrosion and tranny for hum, buzz and whining noises. Carrying out ABS pump pressure test is also a good idea. A car with perfect '93 body and strong '86 engine joined with '89 gearbox must be of more interest and higher value then '93 puttied vert with '93 dead engine and '93 tranny stuck in III and R gears simultaneously.
Good luck,
Zig
