You don't need to de-skin them to paint them. Just remove the whole unit from the car.
The rear bumper has four mounting nuts you need to remove (12mm I think). They are up inside the large mounting brackets bolted to the car. Remove the bumper from the brackets, not the brackets from the car. There may also be two small screws connecting the bumper to the bumper extensions on the underside (one each side). Once you get the rear bumper off, just remove the hardware holding the bumper extensions to the inner wheel well and slide them forward and up. They have hardware on the back side that slides into a channel mounted on the car.
The front is similar. There are two long bolts with internal hex heads that you can reach by using an extension on your ratchet or a long allen wrench. You access them from underneath, through holes in the lower fairing. They are roughly located where the inner headlight edge meets the grill. Best to take the grill off first. Remove the three torx screws up top and pull it upwards. It snaps into the bumper. If you have headlight wipers and/or foglights, you'll need to disconnect them too before removing the bumper. The front bumper extensions connect the same as the rear; a small screw connecting it to the bumper, another couple in the wheel well, then slide back and up off the track.
The decor strip on the rear bumper is held on with a clip at each end and just slides out (unless someone has used mounting tape during an earlier repair. The front is a little more complicated. I usually unclip the outside and GENTLY bend the strips back and tape the ends together to keep them out of the way for painting. To get at the inner ends to remove them completely, you'd have to pull the bumper apart. I usually try to avoid that.
