Sounds like your ABS is turning on. I had this happen many times when going into an exit ramp with braking and the ABS decided to turn on and released the brakes. Pop, pop, pop and the pedal dropped a little. That happened many times and I finally found out one of the tone rings (gear like ring that for the ABS wheel sensor reads) was split and the ring slipped, or two teeth being too far apart was enough to kick on the ABS. This told the ABS a wrong signal and it compensated by releasing the brakes. It worked as designed....but in a dangerous way. Check your tone rings and sensors.
