That would be a bunch of work, and you'd end up having to make your own door panels. Probably need one complete set, and an extra pair of door panels to make it all work.
I don't see any problems forward of, or behind the tires, but the bumper extension panels are very different between the up to 86 cars and the 87 and later. Fronts will work on 4 door cars, rears may not. The rear part of the car is a different shape between the sedans & hatches. On 87- cars, the Convertibles got the panels, so there are rear bumper extensions that fit with no problem. If the car is an 86 or earlier, you'd need to modify the rear bumper extension panels so they mount properly on a 4 door.
A long time ago, Saab sold an "Airflow kit" for most of their models, including 99s and 4 and 5 door cars. Not quite as robust as the Aero/SPG panels, but no mods to the panels are necessary. All but unobtainable today, they occasionally pop up in auction sites.
Good luck with it!
